The Blackwater Ledger is a periodical publication that will cover Red Dead Redemption News, as it relates to members of RedDead.net. Whether its new glitches in single player, multiplayer problems or just something going on here at RedDead.net, you will find it in The Blackwater Ledger.

New issues will be released as time Staff constraints allow, but we will try to release at least one issue a week, usually on Saturdays.

NOTE: I am hosting the PDF on a free PDF hoster, so if you click the link, be ready to combat a couple pop-ups because I cannot afford to pay for the service (already have to pay for my photobucket). I hope to have my personal website up soon and will host the PDFs there at that time. Until then, these are the two choices. The PDF is WAY better quality, however.

ADVERTISING
Individuals, Gangs, Posses or Event Organizers are welcome to advertise on our page for free. You can design your own ads (PM me for ad requirements) or have our staff create an ad for you.

FOR FUN
This is strictly for fun and meant to be fun for readers and staff alike. I am almost positive that new issues will be release sporadically, so
no whining...from anyone...for any reason.

STAFF
We are always looking for new artists, contributing writers and reporters to cover different portions of reddead.net to join the New Austin Press Team.

In addition to putting out The Blackwater Ledger, New Austin Press will also be designing SIGs, Avatars, Posse and Event Headers for reddead.net members. We expect staff to provide what they agree to in a timely manner, again, this is for fun, so staff can do as much or as little as they desire.

Anyone can also PM me with news without being a staff member...I work for a real life newspaper and I can tell you that more than half of what we report on is from tips from the public.

You should throw in an ad for the Taint Powder advertised on the side of a building in Armadillo. "Don't go dry in the saddle!"

Thanks! I had fun doin it.

Basically looking for content...someone to say keep track of whats happening w/the posse's...another the single player forums....or just write an article to be published in The Ledger.

Then, when the page fills, we release one. Keep it simple. Include a graphic...photos would be cool. Try to keep them in turn of the century newspaper style.

I'll write more later...wanna play the game. lol

Right i need to ask a possible ''Dumb'' question but.

Is this going to be a Official published paper i can buy In-game? or is it ''Communitys'' own Ledger guide put together by talented people on this forum?, As i noticed Eli's Hunting challenge on the PDF and i was beginning to think R* have taken on board some of the community and added there ideas to the game as Some deserve it.. the Aforementioned idea above is one of the best I've seen/got involved in.

But when i Re-read it again (i literally just woke up and had a spliff, No excuse but It's totally knocked me for six), I began to realize how fucking stupid i am and saw the ''FOR FUN'' paragraph then it dawned on me.

Have either of you (Diamond/Eli) Approached R* to see about any features of your work? as i remember seeing a Quoted Message post on the D Wild Bunch Boards mentioning that R* appreciated how the game was being used to It's full ability - Or something along them lines.

This isn't a giant arselick or anything, I just wanted to find out if R* are giving the chance for talented people to throw something into the mix to keep RDR original and Fresh - This Ledger would fit perfectly in RDR and looking at it, I wouldn't mind if it replaces the in-game paper at all.. Least it brings something we KNOW will contain more useful information rather then a whole paragraph on why a heard of Hungary beaver raided blackwater (/Humour /Example)
