Actually it has to be 80x80. If its more then SMF will fit it to the view, automatically.

It is actually 100x100. Any more and SMF will automatically try and use HTML to resize it.

I suggest to sticking to topics that you know, since you don't know what settings we have used you are probably not the best candidate for telling others information.

Now, I'm not bluffling. When I tried with avatars, the only one that worked as 80x80. Any less resolution was stretched.

Are you talking about smaller or larger? Your initial post indicates larger than 80px, but your post just now says less resolution. Can you clarify?

I'm used to 64x64 avatars. So when I joined the forums I tried the kind of avatar. It stretched out. Then I tried a 75x75 and still the same. So I tried 80x80 and it did fit to the resolution. I never imagined that 100 would be the max sizeg

It seems to be set to an avatar size of 100x100 regardless of smaller or larger, forcing the av to be that size. So even if your av is smaller than 100x100, like mine is it will make it that size hence the stretching.

Yet ones like Lutten's is able to be 80x80 still. Bizarre.

Ive used 80 x 80 in the past and it doesn't stretch out.  My current is 120 x 120 and it fits just fine.  So it may have something to do with how you are getting the picture.  What file type is it?  Where are you originally hosting it from?

Maybe it adjusts the overall shape to a perfect square. A 90 x 100 will be stretched to 100 x 100. Like when you don't "preserve aspect ratio" when resizing a picture manually.
