i want to know if you can get the achievements on the xbox 360 all over again. i didnt know this, but when i bought Batman: Arkham Asylum GOTY edition when i started playing i started getting achievements and it turned out i could get all the same achievements that i had when i hard the first release again.

so does anyone know if this rule will follow with RDR: GOTY?

No, the GOTY edition has the same achievements as the original and cannot be earned again once you have them.

hey guys,

despite i have the original rdr since the release day, and all DLC, I bought the GOTY Edition (on release day )
Just because of the new hardcore SP mode. This is what I ever wanted for this amazing game.
I can tell you, if you like to spend your hours, weeks, month in singleplayer you should try this.
The game is now really really difficult, and I love it. In the "original" RDR I never ever used the DeadEye, cause it was too easy for me...But now, with the GOTY, I must use it in some situations to stand a chance.
Nice..for the xbox users solomons folly is now added. And also very nice and realistic. When your horse is dying, you can't any longer just whistle to get a new one. Now you really lost your horse and you need to walk by feet, or buy / capture / steal a new one! I love this point.
Also it is much harder now to have enough money. The poker sessions won't give you that much money, many products are more expensive, and ammunition is rare.
Now looted bodies give you less ammunition and money.
The BEST THING, for sure..your Health is now halved! and it recovers much more slowly...you now what this means...

Sounds alright but still not too keen on it. Do you get all the original DLC outfits and that bullshit? + What was the new added outfits or no added outfits?

Thanks for that I was a bit confused on what you got bonus for this editions. I tried finding it on R* but didn't come across much information at the time before it was released. I already got all the DLC: outfits, Undead, war horse  but didn't want or get the golden guns one. I don't MP so I don't think anything in this pack really change much I'll just keep playing poker and doing what I do in SP haha .

The GOTY Edition is compatible with saves from the regular edition, correct?


EDIT: I got it for X-Mas and I can confirm that it is compatible with saves, both multiplayer, singleplayer, and Undead Nightmare, from the regular edition.
