I've unlocked this topic for further discussion.

There is an idea that I've imagined where this could work. It would not be an R18+ forum or any age restrictions. It will simply be the "Mature forum".

Created for the soul purpose of discussion of the more adult and mature subjects that members may often find too embarrassing or uneasy about posting in the other boards. It would be hidden from guests (so users will have to sign in to view), and password protected in the same manner as the spoilers subforum.

Pornography, Warez, etc will not be tolerated. As per the forum rules, anyone posting this sort of material will be banned.

Additionally, as this is the "Mature" forum, anyone who posts immature content will be banned for a few days. If this is going to work we need everyone to understand the reason it was made, and why keeping the maturity levels is essentials. Also, replying to the immature posts will also be frowned upon as it will only encourage it further. Report it and move along.

Will it depend upon our Group permissions? I think there should be some private section for Posses too, visible to members with Posse usergroups. And that way nobody outsider would be able to see 18+ discussions in our private forums.

Every gang member that's active already posts in pretty much every other gang's forums so a general posse forum would be redundant at this point.

As for the mature forum I hold the same stance I had in irc: it'll work as long as the community works together to not aimlessly post immaturely and as long as the community that frequents the area keeps discussions going.

Lutten - Posse groups do have that option actually. We have a private part of our forum you can only access if you are part of our user group.

That'd be the idea of the password. You have to actually type in the password to be able to access it. Therefore anyone accidentally  hitting the wrong button will still have the chance to back out.
