Per usual, Rockstar owns the gaming industry like nobody else......they especially own that crappy Modern Warfare game!

Same here, I think RDR is much more the spiritual descendant of Gun than Red Dead Revolver. I've got severe MW2 fatigue so it's been great to have another top quality game to play.

That said, playing something else has made me realise just how blisteringly good MW2 is

Anyway Their has been so much in the last 3 years that Any hopes of a western Title had Gone Ten RDR came into Town.

Wow all these opinions seem to reflect mine I was waiting for GUN 2 but wanted a similar fix. I feel sorry for the makers of GUN 1 who probably were very pleased with it's beating of Red Dead Revolver

I only played Gun to get my western fix in the build up to Redemption and it struck me then how similar the game was to the stuff being said about RDR. A Gun 2 would be great, I'd welcome any expansion to or advancement of the open world genre, especially if it involves western games.

I was also expecting for a Gun 2 to come out. I really enjoyed gun alot and is one of the few games that I actually beat to 100%.

Agreed, I have severe MW2 fatigue, especially since I'm a Battlefield fan. Bad Company 2 was not the best, but I feel more comfortable playing that versus MW2.

Gun was a great game, and I got a great deal of enjoyment out of it, but I don't think that Gun 2 is ever coming, and if it does I doubt it will be as good as RDR. The story and characters really set this game apart from the pack.
